Sarge
I have a friend that will sell me a set of 4 AR Outlaw II rims for $75. they are 15x7 with a 6-5.5" lug pattern. I haven't drilled my hubs yet. I was wondering if any knows of these rims will fit ok? I know the backspacing is 3.75 and the offset is -6.00mm. I really need to get on this though, that is one heck of a deal ! How much cutting and beating is involved to prevent rubbing? I have no problem eliminating sheet metal or other parts, I am just curious as to what is ahead of me. TheSubaruJunkie
Enough to make em fit. Shouldnt be alot. Really depends on the tires you run, not the rims. -Brian

The fenders need to be cut back from the trim line down and there's a pinch weld on the inner fender that needs to be beaten flat, and then some. You'll see. But again, not a lot of hassle. About a half-hour of cutting and BFHing. Or maybe an hour if you want to pretty up the fender cutting job. And my tires never rub.
TheSubaruJunkie
Sarge how much lift do you have? -Brian
Uberoo
he said he had 4"
Sarge
I am getting the 4" Ozified. I just wanted to know about the tires and rims so I can go ahead and get them. I don't want to pass up the deal on the rims and I'd rather have the rims and the drilled hubs waiting so when I put the lift on I can get the tires mounted and slap 'em on there.... I'd rather not ride around with the lift and stock tires, that's just me.
TheSubaruJunkie
Uberoo... i dont see anywhere in his thread where he specified he had a 4" lift. Sarge, your doing things in the right order. Get those rims. And with 4" you should be able to run the 28's no problem. There will be some beating, and some cutting... but its worth it. Jibs is runnin 28's on his 4" lifted brat. Looks good. -Brian

Sarge
Well, I figured out that toyota and Nissan both use 6 lug with a 5.5" pattern..... this is a big help, now I can drill my hubs without having to pick up my rims.
Phizinza
Yep, 5.5" or more commenly known here as 139.7mm. :-\ Toyota 2x4's use a 5 stud pattern the same as our holdens and fords here in Aus. Nissan 2x4's (in Aus anyway) have almost prefect offset to run on a old subie. Just a bit of info not related to anything.
