timpappas Posted July 31, 2006 Share Posted July 31, 2006 it seems the bug has bitten again. i picked up an 89 GL wagon over the weekend for a couple hundred. 189k but sadly is an auto. since buying my 05 Legacy GT and losing our jeep liberty and grand cherokee to buy the outback sedan, i needed a hauler to have around the house. and have a little toy to screw around with as well. will post some pix tomorrow, too dead tired to do it right now. and its dark out. it runs really well, seems to be well taken care of. not much rust. the only thing is once it gets warmed up, it seems that there is a binding/rubbing noise coming from the LR of the car. It does not do it until you get it running for 8-10 minutes. I am gonna pull the wheels off this week and see what it is. it sounds like metal on metal. anyone have any ideas. they would be greatly appreciated before pulling the wheels....thanks!
