Johnnyboy
Hey team, I found this on a wrecked 87ish subbie wagon that a mate had, it looks factory to me? I wasn't aware these came factory, can anyone confirm this? The "subaru" isn't a sticker either, it's etched on and it was screwed/fitted into the center console of a Auto wagon, a perfect fit. It all works and so forth, but the fluid was a little low on the inclinometer, so i thought i would top it up, looks like a light oil of some kind, any ideas on what exactly it would be? GeneralDisorder
We never got anything like that in the states - although that inclinometer guage looks a lot (like almost identical) to the ones in the Dodge Raider... which was a rebadged Mitsubishi Montero... not sure if the Mitsu's had them, but I have a cluster from a Raider around here somewhere that I've been meaning to install in my wagon. It's got Oil pressure, Voltmeter and Inclinometer. Probably just the same japanese manufacturer for the guage tho. The altimeter is cool - haven't seen an anolog altimeter in any kind of american car before... Find another one and ship it to me GD
IdahoJak
My '90 Mitsubishi Montero has a similar inclinometer in it, along with the voltmeter and oil pressure gauge. I've heard you can fill them with mineral oil if they are low. Most Mitsu owners agree that it is a cool looking gauge, but probably the least used gauge you'll ever have.
