does anyone know about variations in the rear suspension and the diff holder between models of wagon 86-94. I just got my new lift kit and there's few blocks that I can't fit in.

I can only offer the two options that i can see as an issue, which are the two issues i had when i installed my lift.

1, there are blocks that fit where you put them, but were supposed to be in the places where the blocks you have don't fit.

2, you need to lower the suspension as a whole, by swapping each short bolt with each long bolt, without the blocks, and once the entire end of the car is lowered, then you can install the blocks, and tighten everything up.

thanks for the advise. i'm affraid it's a bit too late. I did one side and then when I tried the other side it would't fit. I tried to force the bolts and I damaged them and one nut as well. I bought new bolts but I need to retread the nuts (in the body) any ideas?

Depends on the location, but there were a few that i was able to punch through the sheet metal behind the captive nut, and run a smaller bolt with its own nut on the inside of the car, not the best, or the safest, but it got the job done.

the damaged bolts are the rear suspension ones. 3 of them. I think I can make a hole under the back seat to get to the nuts. I will drill them a bit and put new ones on top.
