My WCSS experience. (better part of it anyways)

Here's my take.

I think this year's show could be called a success. Most folks had pretty good time. Many told me they were grateful or that they had a good time. The show made some money.

 

Now.

Here's why I'll never do it again.

Too many of you are kids with more money than brains or sense. I'm talking to whoever it was that puked in the bathroom Friday night and left it for someone else to clean up. I'm talking to all of those who have no compassion or respect to people who are trying to sleep, the loud talkers or those who felt they needed to rev up there friggin engines in the middle of the night. I'm talking to the complete d i c k h e a d s who did cookies in their pretty little STIs on the way out. I'm talking to the minors I caught drinking who laughed at me when I asked them to poor it out and who made me resort to grabbing big back up to make you leave. I'm talking to the little chick with the big attitude who screamed "hey" at me and ***************ed at me for 10 minutes because I told her she had to wait and that her (already mud covered stock ea81 wagon) that she would just get stuck if she tried the mud hole part. I'm talking to her boyfriend who blazed on into the pit without permission while the crawler was still making its way out of the hole. I'm talking to the local kids in the Toyotas who had to get all sideways in the park on their way out. I'm talking to the guys who refused to turn off the music at 11:30 p.m even thought there were at least 4 kids trying to sleep within 20 yards. I'm talking to PDXtuning for having to beg them to park their cars with the other cars and not in the campground. (a friggin gain!) I'm talking to each and every one of you who couldn't get yourselves to park your cars in the "show" area during the show. (even though for 3 years now we've asked that everybody do so who brings a SUBARU!) I'm talking to Subiegal who stood me up for the 3rd year in a row even though I begged her to make an appearance. I was also let down by friends who told me they'd have "STAFF" shirts so I wouldn't have to work so hard when I got there.

 

Ya know what I got out of this?

I probably lost a good friend cuz I kicked his "apprentice" out for being a minor and drinking.

I got told by some little angry woman that I disrespected her for treating her like everybody else.

I got no sleep cuz you people couldn't bring yourselves to be quiet all night. I'm talking till 3 a.m. or later.

I'm out lots of time and gas money and phone minutes for trying to bring Subaru enthusiasts together who it turns out know enough about Subarus that they voted my impreza 4th place in the 00-06 legacy catagory. WTF?

 

So yeah, I'm so happy about this outcome that I want to take the money we've made and donate it to charity and tell you all to make a good time for yourselves next year.
