85Sub4WD
factory service manuals (FSM's) (found on ebay, or in the marketplace here) are the best (lotsa pics and diagrams) - though haynes manuals are pretty good too - Im not a fan of chilton's, as they are vague
GL-10 Turbo
factory service manuals (FSM's) (found on ebay, or in the marketplace here) are the best (lotsa pics and diagrams) - though haynes manuals are pretty good too - Im not a fan of chilton's, as they are vague Chilton's are for those who like to practice...do the same job again and again, and again... (two thumbs DOWN) They're not only vague, they also ensure that the S.T.M. doesn't realize that they're full of bull, and follows their instructions word for word. The result is doing the job over again...
idosubaru
better to worse: FSM, Haynes, Chiltons and there's a How to make your Subaru last or something...i forget exactly what it's called but i've never seen one, though i've seen a few pages. in reality the FSM is the way to go. keep your eye out here (post a wanted add) and on ebay, get them cheap. well worth it.
