Sonicfrog
Did they use them on the GL 10's, or just the RX???
mikeshoup
GL-10s had them as an option, and so did practically every subaru. You'll mostly find them on FT4WD Turbos though.
Phizinza
You really just have to look for the "LSD" writin on the case..
Sonicfrog
Is the front and the rear both LSD or just the front?
Phizinza
Rear only. Only subies that came out of the factory with front LSD's are STi's, and I am not sure if all of those had them even...
edrach
Stock LSD was 3.700 ratio; easy to convert to 3.900 for use on most of the EA81 and EA82 models.
beataru
The good thing is if you find one... it'll bolt right up....I love subarus
NoahDL88
The good thing is if you find one... it'll bolt right up....I love subarus Whoa there tiger, make sure to get all the facts first. It will physically bolt into any EA subie, provided its 4wd, but it won't work on all of them, LSD's came in turbo cars, which were all 3.7 ratio, they won't work with non turbo cars, or cars with MT's unless the LSD is taken out of the 3.7 diff and put into a 3.9 diff, if you miss this rather important step you'll blow up your drivetrain. Just wanted to say that I bought a new 4wd GL wagon off the lot in 87 that had a 3:70LSD. It was NOT a turbo. From what I`ve gathered, I had an extreme rarity, but they ARE OUT THERE:headbang:

It has been assumed before, with disasterous results, thats why I always remind people of the difference.
