I have a '97 Legacy Outback, 205K miles, AT,2.5 motor etc. It is my wifes car. It has been well maintained. Does it just cut out or does it stmble then stall. Try shifting right to Neutral then putting it in D with your foot off the brake, does it run or stall with a lurch?
