powderhound
I have the first symptoms of torque bind after long runs on the highway. What I am wondering is if the VC from a 92 legacy will work in my 98. Also how difficult is it to remove/install?
porcupine73
If you're in the first stages, have you tried changing the ATF with a good product (i.e. not coastal) or maybe even synthetic? It could just be some gunk starting to build up.

powderhound
I thought that was obvious since only manuals have a viscous coupling.

More then once people with auutomatics have thought they have had VC and center diffs, and visa versa. nipper

porcupine73
Yah I wish I knew what the author of the second post was thinking. I think it just goes to show what can result from making assumptions and not knowing what you're talking about.
