tcspeer
You want me to go back out and write them down? It's tough to get help around here without having to do something, I will be back with the numbers in a bit. the numbers mean something, what are they nipper
Manarius
The engines from 90-94 look a certain way and then the 95-99 look a little difference from those - it's hard to explain. The serial number will tell all though.
ericem
Yes they do look a little different like that plate covering the throttle body, and the cover over the ac and power steering.
NoahDL88
If it has 2 exhaust ports per head, its an early 95 or older, if its got the single ports it is newer, and is an interferance valve design.
tcspeer
Other than the EZ22 I found these numbers 516418518731 this is by the block where the bar from transmission bolts on. 642976 is on the back right side of block and 3419 is under the power steering tank. johnceggleston
If it has 2 exhaust ports per head, its an early 95 or older, if its got the single ports it is newer, and is an interferance valve design. now slow down just a minute. yes the 95 is dual port exhaust, and yes single port exhaust is newer..... but the 96 is single port an non-interference. so not ALL single ports are interference. right? right ? come on somebody say right. john
tcspeer
Maybe NoahDL88 is thinking about the year it was made and not the model year, because my 97 was manufactered in 96 but it is interference. now slow down just a minute. yes the 95 is dual port exhaust, and yes single port exhaust is newer..... but the 96 is single port an non-interference. so not ALL single ports are interference. right? right ? come on somebody say right. john
