benebob
My mother's 06 has developed some clear coat peeling on the roof and subaru is claiming it isn't from factory and its been too long for them to fix it (bought new in February). Just wondering if anybody else has had issues as I'm gonna recommend legal action if there is a pattern.

nipper
I've heard some clear coat issues, but it involves bird poo or calcium from overhead cement. DO what he said, thats unacceptable for the dealer to say that. The warrenty covers paint too. nipper
benebob
Its been to 3 dealers already. Subaru of America won't do anything.

Danbob
Subaru paint sucks. Welcome to the world of it. My 04 wrx has clearcoat issues and chips on the front up the yin yang...you'd think they would have fixed the problem by now....go to nasioc.com and search "paint problems" and "crappy paint" about fifty million threads will come up.
