eddygordouk
first off not sure if this should go in retrofitting or not since they did come in some models... Has anyone tried fitting older 4square lights in newer gen2+ car models with the single 2 headlights? I kinda am itching to see what they would look like on my sedan gl10 when its lowered , i think it might turn out quite nice if done right (and unique:headbang:). only pic ive seen is of the red coupe with em in an old brochure i have which is online here. mikeshoup
Just find a DL EA82. The EA82 DLs all came with the four headlights. I'm actually thinking about putting a set on my wagon.
GeneralDisorder
You have a Gen 3, and you need lights from a Gen 3 DL. Gen 1 is up to 1979 (EA71) Gen 2 is up to 1984 (EA81) Gen 3 is 85-89, and 90-94 Loyale's. (EA82) GD
TheSubaruJunkie
I dont think all the wiring will be there. The composite headlights we have now only have 1 plug leading to them, and the quad headlights you want will use 2 plugs on each corner. You'd probably need to locate the relays and swap all the wiring for them. -Brian

daeron
the wiring shouldnt be TOO complex to figure out, but the stock relaying shouldnt need to be changed... its just a matter of making a custom adapter harness to take the single piece, three prong plug and plug it into two different two prong lights... right? im not sure im visualizing the back of the headlight assemblies correctly or not

Not sure it this is the same for the EA82 DL's though...
75subie
not sure if this is the same for gen 3s, but i tried putting singles on my dual headlight ea81 and the whole nose (rad support) was actually different, along with the wiring. it looked like a bigger job than you would think.
