benebob
I just put two winter thermostats in my Brat and XT today. Followed the Clymer manual on the XT and put it with the toggle thingie on the bottom. After I put it in and sealed it went to the Brat and the toggle was on the top so I checked out my H.T.K.S.Alive book and it said to put the toggle thingie on the top. What is the difference? Anybody know what the darn thing is for anyway? Xt seems to run just fine. A good bit warmer now (had a 180 degree in there for summer and with the cold weather coming it doesn't want to stay warm). ShawnW
I believe the wiggle plug should be toward the rear of the car on an ea82 and the wiggle plug should be at the top on an ea81 carb model and ea81T(turbo) models are treated the same as ea82 models.
