howards11
The rear wiper on the 2000 Forester is listed as a 15 1/2". As I've been advised here, I am going to purchase a "cheapo" blade for the rear. Question: Do I get a 15" or a 16" as a replacement? I'm replacing the entire wiper; not just a blade replacement. Thanks in advance for your for your help. ~Howard :-\ :-\
cookie
Last time I went to the parts store and took off my blade. I walkeed in and matched it up on thier Bosch wiper rack. Sorry I forget the size but it sure is easy to take off.

porcupine73
Hi Howard! I doubt it'll make much difference whether you go 15" or 16". I'd try the 16". Just make sure the fastener/clip style with fit yours. On the drivers wiper I usually go 1-2" longer than stock for a little more coverage which causes no problems for me. On a GL Hatchback I went something nuts like +4 on the rear wiper and it worked like a charm. If you don't like guesstimating go out and measure how much room the wiper has at the end of the stroke and figure out how much bigger you can go. Or in other words, 16" is absolutely fine.
