( preferably one without the h.g. issues ) i just figure more power is better, but i wanted to hear it from those that have done it, and those who care to give their oppinions....... Knichol Posted October 11, 2006 Share Posted October 11, 2006 After swapping in a cheap 97 2.2L, I questioned why I didn't just do a 2.5L motor. Anyone know of a good place to locate any of the new 2.5L? I haven't looked at an OBDI harness, is the wiring that much different? NoahDL88 Posted October 12, 2006 Share Posted October 12, 2006 At 135-140 you are really at the reliability limit of the 5mt D/R and pushing it further up to over 150 hp you may be getting into replacing syncro's and gears at a rapid rate.
