mikeshoup
The rear carpet in my wagon is all stained, always has been. Its kinda ugly. I was contemplating removing, and laying something down over top of the metal, like a rubber mat or something. What has other people done?
Bill90Loyale
Mike- See this. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=37189&highlight=carpet+cleaning Once you get the seats removed, the entire carpet can be pulled out of the car and cleaned. A hassle the first time, but very satisfying to blast years of accumulated dirt out. Try to avoid saturating the padding material underneath the carpet. It takes forever to dry. DAMHIK. mikeshoup
I may have to try something like that. Though, I'm more interested in just replacing the rear end carpet of the wagon with something that will be easy to remove and clean. IE: a rubber pad. jeffast
+1 for cleaning the old one, a matt would let any liquid seep around the back of the wagon
