heep70
We need everyone to help out here. Please pass this around to other ORV users and boards. Please take this survey about ORV noise regulations and enforcement, and changes that may come. If you get the clout email there is more info there. ON THE SURVEY, - Tell them to leave the sound levels where they are. Be careful how you answer the questions, i.e. do not give them any reason to create another Big Brother bureaucracy to prey on you and your kids! - Tell the IAC to quit wasting your NOVA funds "studying" non-issues like this and to do something positive for OHV recreation for a change! Then let all of your motorized 4WD, ATV, Snowmobile, and Off Highway Motorcycle (OHM) friends know about this survey. You can bet most of the anti-OHV/anti- access people in the U.S.A. are going to hear about it from the WTA and Sierra Club! http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=491542728878

WoodsWagon
"survey closed" If this was a survey asking if the Db levels alowed for offroad exhaust should be lowered, I woulda said yes. The three main reasons for trail closure are "Its noisy" "They wreck the trail" and "It smells". You may like the "freedom" to have a louder than hell woods rig, but by exercising that right, you're screwing up my privilege to ride in the woods on my well muffled ATV/ woods rig. Don't give people legitmate reasons to close riding areas. I support enforement of sound output regulation, be it a Harly, Honda Civic, or ATV. Being loud doesn't make friends. heep70
No, it wasn't a survey to allow open exhaust per say. There is a limit that is already set in place to prevent that on any motorized vehicle. I can't remember what it is off hand. I do agree with you on being way to loud. Thanks for replying anyhow.
