blownbimer
Hello...seeing if anyone has a picture of an upgraded turbo for an EA82....From what i've been told, the downpipe will bolt to early turbo leg turbos....but I'd like to conferm that....as well as I'd kinda like to see the length diffrences, and if someone had a side by side pic that would be great. I cant seem to find any via search....The turbo isnt in a subaru...so length matters to me....
calebz
I'm confused Are you looking for pics of the downpipe or the turbo? I used a wrx downpipe when I first put my TD04 on. Don't know how length compares though. The WRX DP is a two piece unit compared to the EA82 1 piece. Besides the Legacy turbo and WRX pipe is so much larger than the stock EA82 stuff, its not like it would make any sense to try to connect the two. blownbimer
Right...I guess I'll start with just fixing the existing peices, and go from there. Kinda curious how its going to react with 10 to 1 comp anyway... Thanks guys... Erik

blownbimer
CIS plus turbo plus 10:1= Its CIS-E.....and it has the "hack" to make it run richer/adjustable....I think it will be fine...the guy had it for about 40k without it running the "hack"..... As long as the injectors can keep up, it should be fine....

970subaru
my thoughts exactly, but it must be a really good low end torque with that small turbo and compression out the rump roast. maybe some toluene couldnt hurt on the hot days, and I hope its intercooled? Yeah...my 86 GL10T was great with the High comp motor Im hoping for similar results...the car should only see about 8psi....
