LUVMYBRAT
Hey folks , I,m building a 3" lift for my brat .( I have some 2x3 tubing and I own a welder) but I,m not quite sure how to fab the strut tower block. Does anyone have a drawing of a block or spacer design that I could use? I,ve been able to figure everything else out. thanks for all advise.:-)
Guest taprackready
What about a tube extension between the strut and the knuckle housing? Seems to me it would be easier to make one. Bill
bushbasher
that's the best way to do it. just remember you have to cut the tube at the same angle as the angle of the strut tower top, so that your camber stays the same. I can' think of a way you could do it with your 2x3 box section. Time to find some tube of a diameter that fits the hump in the middle of the strut top, and some plate to cut out flanges for the top and bottom bolts.
