electryc_monk
Where's the cheesy and crackers for the whinning (you know) that's about to occur? and I dare say that the individual is mostlikely a member or you'll get them to be soon enough? OR is this someone down south in the AUsubaru.com board????
northguy
This has the same flavor as some of the gossip in the powder room. Are you sure you have the right forum?:-) :-)
TheSubaruJunkie
I know someone who is lifting a EA81 Turbo Wagon. He's in the process of putting a D/R FT4WD 5spd in it as well. Is your friend doing a EA81 or an EA82 Zap? -Brian
Hodaka Rider
Brian: Baja (bahahahaha) Turbo. Not EA series. Sounds fun!
TheSubaruJunkie
Oh!!! A Baja! I thought he meant like BAHAHHAHAHA (kinda a evil laugh). Are they making turbo Baja's now? I know there's a pic of a lifted Baja somewhere that some custom place did. -Brian
Mike W
Lifting a Baja is one thing, but how about actually offroading it...that's what I want to see. I guess if you can afford the machine you can afford body damage too. God I hope they aren't lifting it so they can fit 20" chrome wheels with low profile tires. Bratwerst
C'MON Mike! - "Da-Bling-Bling-BAJA" would be uh...um... yea, that would be lame, nevermind. Is it John? (i know he was working for lifts on new soobs, right?) - The turbo sounds pretty cool on a baja though, make it that much more exciting/less boring (in the glass half-empty/half-full sorta way) - Erik Hosa - Tacoma, WA -
Adam N.D.J.
Who do I know that might be crazy enough to do this? Hmm, I dunno anyone round here. And they don't have Baja's down in the southern Hemisphere. Least I've never heard tell of them. Last I heard they were a US marketed vehicle, like the XT-6. And a Turbo Baja?? I didn't think they hit the market till later next year, or did someone do some sort of conversion. Can I talk to this person, they must have deep pockets, and I could use some change for (cough cough), coffee.
