NewKens1
We have 2 OBW's. One is a 97' and the other is a 99". Both have developed a whistling noise around 50mph. It is caused by an air leak. any ideas?
brus brother
Gussets (traingular piece) at the leading edge of the front windows? Use the search function on this site as it has been covered. Does the noise change if you play with the window, pressing out or pulling in?
backwoodsboy
Ive had this with both my '93 Legacy, and my '03 Baja. It originates from the rubber gussets on the doors where the side mirrors attach. The cure was to replace the seals on that triangular piece. There was a TSB I believe for the newer Legacys and Bajas (I got mine changed under warranty)
