steph_c
Hi all: I managed to lose the bleed screw from my Legacy radiator. Long story. Embarassing and sticky too. Is this something I should be able to get from a Subaru dealer, or will pieces/parts shops have this available? I've been looking around online and it doesn't seem to come up in any parts lists. Should I be talking to a salvage yard straight away in the morning? Thanks a million. Stephanie
Snowman
If your dealer is any good, they should have those in stock, as they used the same one throughout the 90's. It might also be possible to substitute a bolt of the correct size with a rubber washer on it, but you'd have to try that to see.
4x4_Welder
Pretty standard part, might even be on the shelf at the parts store, most likely in the Help section.
gbrand
On my legacy I used a oil drain pug to replace the plastic one that cracked, with a rubberwasher undersneath. M10x1I think the thread on mine. Local Ace hardware had a great selecton of them, better than the parts store.
steph_c
Thanks all - I got one from my local dealer for $10. Feels like I just payed a stupidity tax.
