WoodsWagon
If you disconnect the front swaybar on an EA82, either remove the whole thing, or spring it under the control arms. Don't just leave it in there with the links off. It can catch the E=brake cable, and when you turn, it pulls the cable and applies the brake on that wheel. Pretty confusing when it happens the first time.
MSSLGECKO
That's funny. Good advice, though
El Toro
good to know! otherwise are you enjoying the disconnect?
WoodsWagon
Once I get new bushings for the links, I'll hook it back up. I do more street driving than offroading, so.. I'd prefer to have it. It doesn't handle that bad without it though.
Numbchux
I drove my blue lifted wagon with the sway bar disconnected but still installed for months with no problems....
Phizinza
I took mine off the Brat a couple of weeks back. All I have noticed is a tiny bit more body roll and a bit more oversteer in the dirt..
Rooinater
why leave it on if your going to disconnect it?...... it's usless sitting there and not bolted on...

WoodsWagon
why leave it on if your going to disconnect it?...... it's usless sitting there and not bolted on... Cause your too lazy to unbolt it and the skid plate to get it out. It really doesn't make much of a difference, but it helps a bit, so I'd like to keep it. Chasmataz, same size tires as me. Do yours rub on the framerail at full lock?

Do yours rub on the framerail at full lock? yes they do, i took a hammer to the inside fender well where your feet are but it does hit the frame rail still. Numbchux
why leave it on if your going to disconnect it?...... it's usless sitting there and not bolted on... cause on the EA82s, it runs in front of the crossmember. and you have to remove the Y-pipe to take it off....or cut it out. yea....I'm lazy that way.
