danbennett2u
Hi everyone, My 92 Legacy AWD is seriously wandering, I think I may need a new bearing or axle, but am hoping that just an alignment may cure it. Subie has 245k miles on her. Can anyone recommend a cheap place to get an alignment done that would also let me know if there are other issues? I was thinking Super Rupair in Boulder, but I have a feeling they are on the expensive side. Any other suggestions from folks in Northern Colorado/North Denver area? Wayne Boncyk
From all the issues I've heard from others' experiences with Supperrupair, I'd never trust 'em with one of my vehicles -- but as always, YMMV. I've had exceptionally good luck with the local Big-O franchise operations in the area for wheel alignments -- I can personally recommend the shop in Louisville (where I used to live), or the one in Evergreen (where I now live), as being able to properly align a 'Roo and being reasonably priced for the work. soloracer34
I've found alignments at Tire Source in Boulder to be resonably priced and excellent work. Pete does many, many local race cars and is highly recomended on the racing message boards. Probably won't get much of a diagnosis of anything beyond alignment though. skizix
Well, it's not exactly up north, but for sure the place I'd recommend is Merrill Wheel Alignment. These folks are most definitely on top of it, and definitely more affordable than most. Very nice people, and quite competent. For a tricky problem, I'd go no where else. Close to Colfax and Wadsworth, so pretty much straight west of downtown. I've had multiple infuriating experiences at superrupair. Still go there for parts, but I'll never drop my car off there again.
ShawnW
Strictly Automotive is 10th and Inca (Santa Fe). Really nice, latest and greatest alignment machine and they actually know how to use it. They are Subaru specialists and they will definately look over the car before/during for anything that is a problem.
