Commuter
Sport Utility Sedan... A raised up, Outback looking sedan. I don't think they were too popular... Commuter
chef_tim
To bad, very sharp looking car. Was it turbo, or just a hood scoop??? Tim

Tim All of the 1997-1999 Outback have non-functional hood scoops. Their sole purpose on the car was to collect water and soak to top of the engine causing some reliability problems. There were a few recalls to seal the hood scoop.
GeneralDisorder
Loved the look of those sedans - really cool. Wish they still made em. GD
Ranger83
I believe when initially produced they were test marketed in New England. Don't know if they were ever sold anywhere else?
Commuter
They were sold here in Southern Ontario. Did they not continue it with the model change in 2000? I thought they did. Has it been dropped? The cars101 site would probably tell me... but no time to look right now. Commuter
