Subaru_Mechanic
okay i got a job offer from comcast... instaling wireless internet, and makin 30bucks an hour. i want power! and my ea71 would look Amazing with a twin turbo. EJ25? ive said this lots of times but i actually got my S*** together now. so the question is: should i go all out? i have the car, all i need it the fire breathing EJ25T. i know its lost of work but i CAN do it. the dash and gauges wont matter everything will be custom if i do go threw with this. now what is ur suggestion? and whats my price gonna be? (guesstamate) my guess is 5000 bucks:confused: (totally worth it for a car that will some all 4 tires and shoot flames with a sound louder then thunder (im a horsepower freak:headbang: lol)(i wanna be able to turn it sideways goin around a corner (on a summer day) without poppin the clutch:grin: just give it some octane and whip it.... so what do you guys think?? NoahDL88
wait for the first month to be over, so that you know you have a job, and that you can hack it, then by all means go to town, and be sure to bring it to WCSS9 Nothings worse than spending money you don't have, i'm guilty as charged. Jerry DeMoss
Something comes to mind like that one bloke who had a turbo sticking out of the hood of his brumby.I can't seem to find the video clip of Aussie brumby on Youtube.I think it was Phiz who posted that one. Subaru_Mechanic
i have the carpet and bad engine, i coverd the dash myself and so far have repainted the hood bedliner black, i bought more paint and bondo to finnish the body. after that the wheels get sandblasted and repainted as well. as for my ea81: i pulled the engine and dropped the front end tranny and all. so im ready to swap. that is until i get the EJ parts rounded up... i miss my old ea71, i miss smokin the tires when a f 250 would rev up its cheap horse power. it makes people drop their jaws, expically when i shift and their still smokin without rpm loss:grin: but i suppose i can do it again.. (but all those hours of fine tuning gone...) me wants yer ea71 find yourself a ea71t or ea81t
Caboobaroo
Dude, slow DOWN! Before you do anything with power, you NEED to upgrade the suspension and brakes before you put something in it so monsterous, you can't stop it, literally! Remember, you have solid disc brakes up front and weak drums in the back. You need to custom fab up a 5-lug conversion into that car with some awesome handling struts and stuff. Also, get some different tires on it because cornering with some 70 series tires will make them pop off the beads, especially when you're drifting it with power. Before you add the go, make sure you add the woah because if you do it the other way, you'll be like "Well I can drive it this once before I do this and this and this". Trust me, bad idea because then it'll never get done and you'll end up messing more stuff up or worse, wrecking the car into a pile of scrap metal. So remember, be safe, be smart, THEN be happy:burnout:

moosens
so what do you guys think?? That you should wait, for sure. That you might find yourself needing to carry insurance if you're going to be a subcontractor. That this maybe belongs in another Forum. Good luck.
