4x4moose Posted December 29, 2006 Share Posted December 29, 2006 for some reason i keep going through cluch cables, i had to drive about 70 miles last nigth with no cluch, man was that fun! so time to put another one in and i don't rember if it should go under the steering colum or over it. 4x4moose Posted December 29, 2006 Author Share Posted December 29, 2006 they don't seem to be breaking in the same place all the time, i look i didnt seen an burs that might be cuting the couble. i just need to get it overwith right now cause i have to drive home to night and i have a lot of ************ to do to day, i was going to try and find out when i had more time. I was trying to find the right rpm,it was like 4 1/2 or 5000 rpm and then it would go in pretty smoothly, but 60 percent of the time. But Ive never messed with a clutch cable before, But really it should go underneath cuz its right behind the pedal.. Im going to say under, but Id wait till a more fimiliar subaru guy tells ya.
