Zebisko
Hey, I was interested in getting information about that goofy center light in the grill on some cars. Is that a custom thing people do, or was it factory? I definately want it.
jeep5.9litre
Came from the factory, but can be modded to vehicles that did not come equipped from the factory.
GeneralDisorder
2 versions: 80/81: colored chrome door logo - called a "passing lamp" 82: Black, more hidden door - called a "center lamp" Standard equipment on GL 4WD's. Does not fit any other configurations without cutting of the grill, etc. Except 82 through 84 DL single headlight models - it would more or less bolt into those if you have the grill to go with it. 75subie
the only thing with it is that i had to chop out most of the center rad support beam to get it to fit. also had to eliminate the cyclops electric motor and replace it with a manual choke cable. (actually worked pretty nice) had the switch and cable hidden under the dash.
Zebisko
Awesome, thanks for the info, are there different types as well, or is the only kind the one in the picture earlier in this thread?
