Caboobaroo
So I have a quick question since I really couldn't find anything on it in the PDF file or have really seen it discussed. I'm using a EJ 5-speed from a '98 Impreza and was wondering about a pitch stopper. What have people done with it and did you cut the stock EA down or did you use an EJ or what. I think this is one of the last pieces of the puzzle I need to solve before I get it all together since I currently don't have an EJ one, just a SPFI EA pitch stopper. bobs97c5
I've read, and proofread, and edited. I think I've got it pretty much how I want it. So I'd really like you guys to read it over, and make any changes you guys think are necessary. it's pretty close to being ready to be converted to .pdf form.http://putstuff.putfile.com/34897/4444849 post #12 for version 2.0 The link doesn't work anymore. esteveW
I have read what I could find with great interest. However, I can't get any of the links to the EJ Swap .PDF to work. Could you provide a link to this .PDF file current location. Thanks Steve
rxleone
There is also a new version of the EA to EJ writeup, making it easier to read and a bit more aesthetically pleasing. Get it here.

SubaruGL
Wow great writeup and work Numbchux and the other contributors! I'm a visually person and it was just what I needed to see. My car is ready for the swap, but until I find a complete donor car I don't think I'll risk it yet. Electrical is my thing, its the engine stuff that scares me LOL Definitely subscribed here, and thanks again! I know writeups like this take time and are a labor of love! Crazyeights
I just did one this week with an EJ engine/trans in to an EA82 body. The one I used was a rod style. I sliced it roughly in half and had it welded back together beside itself (shortened and offset). It fits perfectly. I actually found the idea here in another thread. Edited October 13, 2014 by Crazyeights
formosahenry
Is there any ej22 engine I should avoid? What year of ej22 is the most compatible or better?
formosahenry
I have a 82 brat. I am looking for someone to do the ej22. I am located in Vancouver British Columbia Canada. Any one near me interested in doing this job?
