I would like to know if there is any connection between the brake and clutch it’s a 98 Subaru Impreza Wrx. When the car is in motion and one presses the brake then the clutch, the clutch goes free like its failed den it has to kind of get jerked to get the clutch back, anyone know what is causing this.

Thanks.

There is a sort of interconnect with the hill holder, but the worst that that will do is make a break drag, otherwise no. Look at the bracket under the dash where the pedals mount, maybe there is a broken weld?

Can you explain what your seeing a little better? You have a hydraulic clutch so that rules out the usual suspects like a broken motor mount.
