Guest subu luvr
local "deputy registrar" like sears, can run a title search and tell you who the last few people who owned it and if theres any tickets, etc... costs about five bux... vin, plate or both cant remember.... think if you have cc you can do this online too, but they mail the results getting a clear title is amazingly easy: certified letter of intent to last known owner's address fill out the form pay 135.00, or fill out another form which delcares you unable to afford that fee... some fool tried to steal a motorcycle i had in storage this way *heh*
Dr. RX
Yes, you can check my web site for a 1980 to 1989 car. Beyond that I do have the VINs up to 2001. JF2AF53B9GE117152 JF2 means it is a 4WD AF is a Hatchback 5 1800cc engine without air suspension 3 GL B is weight class 9 check digit G 1986 E Dual Range 4 speed tranny the rest is the serial number. So, you have a 1986 4WD GL Hatchback with a EA81 and a D/R 4 speed tranny.
