AlpineRaven
Are the BG5 (1996) rear struts are both same on Sedans and Wagons? Or if I have Sedan struts on wagon will lower it or raise it? Will I come into any problems abt using sedan struts on wagon? I am planning to use my near new struts that was suited for sedan after I wrote mine off and use them in my wagon. Can it be possible? Thanks AP EDIT: I will be using wagon springs(coils) & hats/tops on sedan struts
Legacy777
As long as both cars are AWD the physical strut should be the same. There will probably be some damping ratio differences, depending on whether or not the strut is OEM or aftermarket. Aftermarket manufacturers tend to bump up the damping ratios compared to stock, and offer the same strut for sedans & wagons. So...either way, you should be good to use them. dmanaenk
I can imagine there being some extra strain on the sedan strut, from having to dampen more weight. So it might not last as long as wagon strut.
