Spiffy
so I pull up to the chevron on powell and 60th or so to get some gas and while I'm sitting there getting filled the pump jockey asks what year my car is... I figured maybe he's some kind of enthusiast but that's all he asked and walked away... then an elderly guy comes up and asks me the same thing... then he goes on to tell me how he was at the Radio Shack at Eastport Plaza when it was robbed and he followed the guy far enough to see him get into what he thought was a white wagon around the same year as mine... he was going ot let the police know, since he didn't have any idea what kind of care it was before he saw mine at the gas station... so I told him it'd be '80-'84... the gas guy also mentioned that the 7-11 on 72nd had been robbed earlier this morning... not a good day for outer SE convenience businesses I guess... ... but really, an ea81 wagon as a get-away car? I guess they're common enough up here to get lost in the crowd, but they don't really have any get-away power... --Spiffy

GeneralDisorder
Sadly, that's all there is in SE portland - roads. Wasn't me - my EA81 wagon still has no reverse. And lifted wagons covered in mud don't blend well Sounds like some meth-heads - that's about what they could afford, and it's DEFINATELY where they live. I bet it's 2WD too. GeneralDisorder
Nobody said meth heads were smart! Survey says..... No. I've dealt with a few. Ex-girlfriends ex-boyfriend.... he went to jail whilst I chatted amicably with the officers....... and it was I who threatened him with a claw hammer. ...... yeah - no more drama for me please GD
daeron
"Roads? Where we're going, we don't need roads." That's all I have to say about that Dual ranger FTW! lol awesome, good quote mcfly. Its strange, the rest of the country seems to be taken over in a wave of meth usage, but south florida just does not have it. I mean, there are meth addicts around, but nowhere NEAR the amount you folks seem to deal with in the rest of the states.. obviously it will vary from town to town, but it just isn't an incredibly popular way to utterly destroy your life down here. They still use crack for that. yah, Good ol' crack! we can joke about you, lightheartedly. when we talk about meth its still too garish to think about. Ahh, the beauty of desensitization... I'm kinda rambling, sorry.

soobmater
I live in a small town myself, about 1800 population.. In the last couple years there has been a big increase in meth heads around here, and it just pisses me off to a extreme.I got really close to beating the ************ out of one the other day, but then i relized it wasnt worth my time... Its a long story so dont ask :-p On another note.. I'm sure the guy wont be to hard to find, he will soon find out that he will have to stop at stores and gas stations very frequently to get oil.. GeneralDisorder
I say legalize it. And while we are at it repeal the helment and safety belt laws. Let nature run it's course. We have too much rubber padding. Trying to think of every possible way people can voluntarily remove themselves from the gene-pool and prevent them all..... excercise in futility. If you want to drive 150 mph on your crotch rocket down the interstate with no helment, a wife beater, shorts and flip-flops..... more power to ya buddy. daeron
cocaine Well, being unsure of the implications of your statement.. ..AND maybe a little over-sensitive, personally, on this particular issue.... ..I want to say, plain and simple, that cocaine is about the most evil *************** i can imagine, and I have never, and shall never, go near the stuff. If I am coming out of left field with my "clarification," and no such concept was intended, no big deal.. BUT me no likey the powder. Bad things.
