photo2001
Does anyone use the occasional can of dry gas in your Subie? It's been in the single digits here lately, and just wondering if it's a good idea.
nipper
This was just discussed. If you have ethanol in your gas its not needed. In fact if you go over the 10% mix you can hurt the fuel system. Now i use dry gas in my oil tank, which is outdoors and above ground. nipper
Snowman
At that temperature it won't matter anyway because any water in your fuel tank will likely be frozen. It's the range from about 25-45 degrees where it becomes problematic.

Skip
Nipper don't be so hard on yourself. You were right as usual (see below link) Ethanol and dry gas I think the search needs four letter words to work.
OB99W
[...]I think the search needs four letter words to work. I don't know, Skip -- the search function isn't that great, and I've mumbled a few four-letter words, but it doesn't seem to help.

The truely funny/sad part about this is that I thought the exact same thing when I read Skip's post....
