Zebisko
Well, I just Seafoamed the Hatch, and let me tell you, it helped! Before I used to not have throttle response anytime, but especially below 2000 RPMs. It now pretends to have pick-up! So far, I give Seafoam three points! Milemaker13
I agree. I like seafoam. I've done my 92 loyale. I belive I did that 84 you picked up as well. It seems to help clean things up. I have heard many cases of it causing leaks, but it is most likly existing leaks that got cleaned out also- allowing leaks to form. New lines, ect will fix any of that. Loyale 2.7 Turbo
How is the Procedure to "Seafoam" an Engine?
Milemaker13
Just follow the directions on the can. 1/3 can into the gas tank. 1/3 can into the engine oil. 1/3 can down the carb or throttle body. When you put it into the intake, go slow at first, then dump it in to kill the motor. Wait about 5 min, then restart. Lots of smoke and crap. Drive it around some, then change your oil. Thats basically it! Search up Seafoam here or on the web- you'll get lots of advice and videos! Watch for some fuel leaks to start, if you have any old fuel lines, ect.
