Mini-Meet while AndyJo is here CO guys?

Recommended Posts

Colorado members want to get together for a mini meet/BBQ/Bar stop or something while Andy is out here? I'll volunteer my backyard/grill/& of course my special charcoal again if needed, it's pretty much completely uncovered from snow now. I'm pretty much free anytime unless I'm working some freelance, or at an interview. Andy clue us in again on when your free etc...

oh yeah, anyone know where i can change my oil? i didn't bring a drain pan w/ me, and i don't trust quicky places w/ my car...

Yea us CO guys suck at getting together without 3 months notice...and even then. Your welcome to come use my driveway to change your oil Andy, like I said I would at least like to meet ya while your out here. And I can't possibly be too far away from your hotel. Unless an interview or consulting work comes up tomorrow I should be home. I'll PM ya my phone + address

Keith

Hotel? My sisters apartment is one crazy hotel, filled with bunnies.

we're actually just up colfax, on the other side of the highway, so like.. 5 minutes away.

I think we're going to head over to CCR tomorrow at some point. I need to get a filter, and some oil to fill the ol' beast up with. Maybe the girl and i can grab some burgs' & dogs and bring em over when we stop by to change the oil ;), as long as shawn w doesn't make me do it at CCR :-p

Hey guys, thanks for the hospitality, erin & i had a great time in Colorado... and arn't really to psyched about being back in NY (raining & cold...)

we made it back safely.. with only a few minor issues (did you know that you can shear off wheel lugs... i'll talk about that later...)

Glad to hear you made it back...and damn fast too it seems.

Was great meeting ya and Erin while you were out here. And was fun watching you change your oil in the rain in my driveway :).

Oh did you switch to your "power" mode for the way back? If so how was your gas mileage difference?

thanks for letting me do that dude, i'm sure the car would have no been happy if i didn't get to change out the oil while we were there (it was pretty gross when it came out)

i switched it over to stage 1 on the way back... the milage wasn't horrible, around 20-21, but we were also traveling alot quicker than the way out.... let's just say through nebraska our average speed was ~ 83.5mph ;), AND the box didn't come off, and you were right, the bouncing did even out around 92mph

it was an interesting drive... took us a bit longer than we wanted, but i guess you'll have that sometimes.

Total milage for the trip was like.. 4400 miles
