The only thing I can suggest is that the fuse contacts may not be replaceable. If one of the fuses is having a connection problem you may be able to make a better connection to it by soldering the wire to the contact. If the connection is heat damaged you may need to install a seperate fuse holder for the circuit.

Actually I had no problem removing the fuse box. It was suprisingly

easy. And the fuse box comes apart to reveal replaceable contacts

that just plug onto the board.Replacing them would be easy if I could

find them. Local parts stores can't find them, and the same small

fuse is used in almost every car made. I thought maybe the removable

contacts would be the same for other makes of cars (wrong again).

My local (sort of) Subaru dealer could not find the contacts and

wanted to sell me a complete fuse box...I didn't ask the price.

Looks like the hard part will be finding the contacts. I need to find a

junker to get the parts from. A salvage yard would want to sell the

whole fuse box and I hate to pay too much when all I want is the

contacts.

Anyone got a late model Subaru that uses the real small fuses

and would sell the fuse box (or contacts) reasonably priced.
