suwbarrux
Does Anyone know how, where or what i could do to get Replacement Floor pans and/or wheel wells on an 87 Brat?
TomRhere
You could try emailing Allen, allen@alfaparts.net to see if he can make what you need. I sent them various parts of a BRAT a few years back. I haven't had time to work on mine, so I haven't ordered anything from them. Don't know if they still have the stuff I sent them either.

backwoodsboy
I think a lot of old gen subie owners are on the DIY (do it yourself) program. Get yourself some mild sheet steel and some snips or an angle grinder and go to town. (you'll need to weld'em in either way- purchased or home made) If there are any good shops in your area, might wanna have them give you a price quote (couldnt hurt!) Skip
Give these folks a call (their website is lame when it comes to Brat parts) http://www.millsupply.com/
j2coe
you can also look at the same parts out of a same year wagon. I found good wheel wells I was going to put in a brat a couple years back. being inside they're better protected.
subyrally
im in the same boat on this one, but from what ive seen, no one makes replacement sheet metal for these anymore . kinda wishing i had a source on floor pans cause im in the middle of patching up mine right now. next is the rockers. thats going to be fun:dead: looking at mill supply, looks like they carry the rockers for the wagons, but im not sure if they are the same as the brats. last time i checked that site, they didnt have anything but front fenders for the old school cars. I think they could be modified to fit, but the top pinch weld wouldnt be quite right, as wagons have the short doors and brats have longer ones. zstalker
just for kicks and giggles, go ask the Subaru dealer to do a nation-wide search for replacement body panels that you need. There are still a few panels floating around the US. ~Erik~

There are still a few panels floating around the US.~Erik~ tried that a few weeks ago, after the guy at the counter stopped laughing at me, he said that they ran out like two years ago, or something like that. he searched the inventory, which i had to damn near force him to, and there were no results, at least thats what he said. but i just remembered that i have a friend at another dealer that wont feed me bs about it. ill give her a call and see what she can do. backwoodsboy
I recall hearing that SOA recalled all their NOS body panels, and melted them back down:mad: ....or maybe that was just more stealership BS.
cobcob
OC Subiewrench had a line on some through SOA a couple of weeks back... (he's a tech at a dealership so probably has a bit more pull than Joe Public)
thealleyboy
I'm glad this came up. I have been meaning to contact Allen myself. I had a discussion with him some time ago about fabbing up some XT patch panels. He may want to do some Brat stuff if there is any interest. I'll refer to this thread when I contact him. Mill Supply has a limited selection, but I remember they carried some Brat items at one time. Perhaps they can still get some of these discontinued panels. A couple of other ones to check are: Midwest Fender Warehouse http://www.midwestfender.com/ ABP http://www.abpanels.com/ Both have good connections for hard-to-find patch panels good luck, John
subyrally
looks like there are a few left in the country, she said 5 of one side and 8 of the other. couldnt find the book for the brat but we looked em up for the hatchback. they are about $150 each from subaru. http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/member.php?u=107051 if you want em, they arent melted yet. call and ask for jackie. she is good people:headbang: they also give discounts for nasioc members, i think. either that or they just have some of the best prices to begin with.
