+1 on going to the dealer and spending the money to get the correct wiring diagram. Wiring is the easy part, just follow the diagram, make sure all 180 wires are going to the right places and it's done... cake. MS is more pain then you wish upon anyone unless you are doing a crazy custom build... stock management will do just fine.

UPDATE:

 

So, I got the engine/ECU/etc. Actually, I basically have the whole car (at least, what he didn't take from it already) at my disposal without actually having the car in my driveway! I don't actually have any of the parts at my house yet, but will be able to get it when I need it (might leave it 'till spring at this point).

Anyways, from anyone who has done the OBDII route, is there anything extra I need to do/get while I'm taking stuff out of the car?
