There seem to be three or four of us on this board pursuing this, and with luck (and time and money -- the limiting reagents for most projects ), at least one of them will be one the road by the end of this year. Jerry DeMoss Posted April 27, 2007 Share Posted April 27, 2007 If I had my choice on a diesel to throw into a ea82 chassis it would be the one built by toyota that they put in the 4wd trucks in the mid 80's.Not common in the usa but it is a stout engine.I guess the vw wouldn't be all that bad if you gotta go diesel and you know that engine pretty well.
