Jerry DeMoss Posted May 2, 2007 Share Posted May 2, 2007 Most likely it is a large valve head.I think 83 1/2 was the time they started to change over to that when the hydro ea81 was starting to be introduced.No definates unless you can see the valve covers and they say the "Do not adjust" sign on them. And I liekd it. my friends brat has small valves, and it just seems to lack the tourque that mine has, and were almost identical in engines. hot coil, and weber.
