hatchsub Posted May 6, 2007 Share Posted May 6, 2007 So i didnt realize that simply taking the coolant line that runs to the base of the carb wouldnt eliminate the coolant running there. Instead it gave the coolant an express way to my garage floor when i started it. It did run nice for the few seconds it was alive. So the carb came off and out came some good old JB weld. I just finished up the first coat of it about 15 minutes ago and am going to do a second coat in a few hours and maybe even a third till its up to the top then ill let it set up over night and file it down tomrrow morning. My gaskets im hoping are still good. They got ever so slightly wet but not terrible. Most of the coolant went to the ground. Anyways enough of my rant.
