messing with the IAC is tricky

One method would be to introduce a small filtered vacuum leak using a solenoid valve

(the ECU may try to compensate though)

I'd use an "idle up solenoid" from an

EA81 that has AC

Mount it as to hold the throttle open a little bit when

your foot is not on the peddle.

Or maybe if the car has AC, use your switch to disconnect the

compressor's mag clutch and turn on the AC.

Test this by unplugging the clutch and turning on the AC.

Thinking of one of my ej22 throttle bodies in my storage. There is a screw on the top of them. On some cars I've dealt with in the past yo could turn this and raise the idle up some without ever having to touch the IAC. I'll try to remember to take a picture for reference tomorrow. Its late here, lol
