misledxcracker
Good luck Try Suby Specialists in Monrovia. They're cool. Also, Raffi's is in Inglewood, but I dont trust them for some reason.
Alexx
Thanks for the lead. A bit far away from me but perhaps way better than nothing. May I add that they need to be specialists in carburetors?
Turbone
Send s'ko a PM, he's in the LA area and might know of someone. Or he might be interested in giving it a shot himself.
s'ko
What area of LA do you live in? If you are looking to get work done on your carbetooter, there is a company called Songs Carburetor in Long Beach. I have yet to use them. Most mechanics do not want to work on the older stuff. Raffi will give you some advice over the phone and stuff, but they charge a lot more for the EA stuff. Suby Specialties are the same. What is wrong with you carb? BW
Alexx
The car is actually running Ok right now. But I'd like to have some place I can go to occassionally. The last time Roo Builders rebuilt my carb and it's still fine, but I'd like a steady idle. It's not too bad, but I notice I can't use the cigarette plug as a charger because the voltage output irregular, probably because of the not perfect idle.
