pgrey
My 07 quit responding to the "I agree" button on the touchscreeen yesterday. I've had this a couple of times before when it was cold, but not recently. No amount of key on/off and/or cycling the odometer display, etc seems to make a difference. Anyone else hit this and solve it? Thanks, -pete
nipper
Find the fuse for the nav system and pull it. COunt to thirty then re install the fuses. i imagine its more then one. Of course i should be telling you the car is under warrenty and take it back to the dealer, but someone else will do that. nipper

pgrey
SEE! :-p nipper Yeah, thanks guys:clap: I'll try the fuse. I was hoping to avoid the giant hassle with a dealer drop-off and having someone follow me there, if there was a simple way to reset it. -pete
lekmedm
Try ejecting the DVD under the driver's seat and then putting it back in again. I think the nav system has to reset itself when that happens. Maybe that'll do the trick!

I think the nav system has to reset itself when that happens. Maybe that'll do the trick! Thanks, I had tried that initially. That was my thought as well. I also tried the fuse, same deal. It's weird, it obviously boots, then just sits there at that darn "I agree" screen. Oh well, unless someone has something else to check I'll call the dealer tomorrow... -pete
pgrey
Dealer couldn't figure it out. They're ordering a whole new system. Seems like the pricey way to do it to me, but it's their call. PITA thou', I have to arrange to drop-off/pick-up the car again. I wish dealers that say they have service-loaners actually had to have a decent number of them. -pete
Subarupusher
The Auburn dealer has a good service crew there and they always have a parking lot full of loaners. Maybe next time (hopefully many years from now...that is why we buy Subarus) you can try driving 30 minutes south to get a guaranteed loaner. I never try to get a loaner in Seattle. Most of the dealers never have enough lot space to keep "unimportant" amenities like loaner cars around. Their service volume is also a lot higher.
