CzarMohab Posted July 1, 2007 Share Posted July 1, 2007 If I recall correctly, there is a fuse (not sure if it is insert or remove) that changes your beastie from AWD to FWD, so you may only have to play with the fuse. SoobGoob Posted July 1, 2007 Author Share Posted July 1, 2007 i do belive the fuse only engages the rearwheels when the fronts slip making it awd but even with the fuse out just the rear wheels spinning it can still tear the vc up. comon guys i know your not all at the show! porcupine73 Posted July 1, 2007 Share Posted July 1, 2007 The FWD fuse makes no difference on this vehicle - it is an MT. Check your manual, but I think AWD MT vehicles can be towed with all four wheels on the ground in neutral, or all wheels off the ground. AWD auto trans vehicles can not be towed with any wheels on the ground. Gnuman Posted July 1, 2007 Share Posted July 1, 2007 To tow with a dolly, disconnect the driveshaft at the rear diff. Otherwise you can tow with all four down in neutral. I have done this on several occasions. just take the four bolts (12mm) that hold the rear U-joint to the flange on the diff out and store them in the ash tray (or the armrest if you actually use the ash tray <yuck >).
