Ultimate Subaru Message Board

artists out there on the board

Recommended Posts

Subaru drawings, computer art, pottery, photography, stained glass, spraypaint, charactures of cars are fun, murals, signs, printmaking, silkscreening, wire sculpture, and abstract form/function ceramics are a favorite as well. And not sure if this qualifies but ideas for custom furniture and interior design I've taken great interest in. Scanner is down which sucks...

I'm pretty wicked at drawing cars, used to have a scanner but it's too much trouble to hook up, one o them old serial port ones with windows 3.1/95 drivers. Don't think I could get it to work with win2k pro :-p Can draw portraits and landscapes with some skill, but I'm hopeless at animals, figures of people etc. Not much at comic kinda stuff. Basically skilled but not really creative ;) I need to find a scanner and get some usmb photo space. Or maybe steal my sis's digicam.

I doodle and draw and do random acts of art here and there... people have told me I am good ... but that is all in the eye of the beholder!

anyways, are you collecting art to put on your page from different people? or maybe links to art of others?

i might be able to find some of mine...

I do a lot of art. B&W pencil, usually automotive in subject though I do a lot of sci-fi and Aliens (the movie) inspired stuff.

My main theme is / are: Post Apocyliptic Landscapes. Cityscape ruins, etc. I don't have a scanner though, and even if I did, much of my work is too big. (like a Terminator based city ruins piece that's 3' x 2'.)

I guess you could call me a professional artist since I have sold three of my paintings and one of my sculptures. Haven't really done much lately, I've turned to other artisan crafts, like gold smithing, faceting, and opal cutting.

Astrophotography, B&W SLR, B&W developing, Figure drawing, charcoal, pastel, graphite, and ink. Prefer H2O color, set design and sceneic painting for theatre setups and stage designs.

Murals, backdrops, and props. Lighting design, sound design is alot of fun too.

huge portfolio that needs organizing from all the years of study and classes taken and plays worked on. Almost none are scanned or photographed either. sorry.

painting with a brush at the end of a 4 foot bamboo stick is ALOT of FUN!

have several schecth books for pencil and pen work all the way back to high school, during the NAvy days too.

Costume design and building as well. Hense the Tech theatre degree i just recieved this last May.

Of course there is the welding classes i took (here in college) to expand the fun i learned from grampa and uncle dave while in high school with thier welding equipment that is now mine stored up at the parents in michigan.

Its fun and i do miss it.

I am! I lost my internet connection for over a month thanks to my awesome roommate  . Anyway, I have a new place in Northgate. You really ought to message me sometime :) .

Oh yeah, and just so this stays on topic (please ignore the horrible JPEG compression thanks to Cardomain ) - this is a characature I did of what I'd like my Soob to look like eventually :D .
