subynut
On our way home from WCSS, We got all the way to Beatty Nevada and, AGAIN, killed a roo. ManyAik's suby lost a t-belt in his car: somthing siezed cause all the cogs on the belt are gone AND the crank pully refueses to come off. We're about 60 miles from Vegas, but with 4th of July holiday there are no parts stores open. Thankfully, Dad is comming up to pick up the dead roo so we can get home. So, we should be able to get home late wed or thur. We'll see. On a positive note, At least, we are indoors and have internet instead of being out in the middle of noware. sigh.... NV Zeno
next year you should go around Navada. go south on I5 all the way and hang a left in to Arazona... you guys and Navada dont seam to get along all that well... let us all know when you get home... -=Suberdave=- www.suberdave.com Nah, just around Beatty :-p. To bypass NV completely would add several hundred miles (and hours) to an already loooong trip from Sierra Vista. That would also serve to desintegrate the annual "AZ-NV-(sometimes)CA caravan to WCSS" . I believe that is the EJ wagon that's broken, I hope it's not too serious. The other vehicles in the party are still OK, right?

subynut
Yes, it was the EJ wagon. I don't think it's Nevada, I think it's the summer heat. We could go all the way down I5, but that would put us in the Death Valley area from basicly LA to Needles. That's hotter than Vegas.:-\ However, we are home now Rolled in at 10:30 last noght. Ugh, I HATE the desert down there. I remember one summer loooong time ago, my father and I were down there visiting my grandparents and we had to take Hwy 138 IIRC to get to San Bernadino.... what a hellish drive that was. Glad to see you guys got home ok though!
