NewKens1
When I was rotating the tires I saw that one of the rear struts was leaking. Is this a job for a DIYer. Ernie

86ruguy
getting them out of the car isn't really a problem. however you need a strut spring compressor to disassemble the strut because the replacement is just the strut and not the spring or anything. if you get them out, most shops only charge a couple bucks to swap out the rest. the shop where i work charges $15 a piece i think. NewKens1
I'm soory that I did not mention that I have a '99 OBW. I am fairly mechanical and most of my own work. The left rear strut is leaking. The local autoparts store will loan me the spring compressor tool. Ernie
