cd45
OK. It has rained in Oklahoma way too much. I can't drive anywhere without almost drowning out my car. How do I go about putting a snorkle on the Soobie? 2" or 3", PVC or what? I am thinking 3" PVC. Do I run 2 filters, or 1? Do I leave it at the carb or move it out to the top of the snorkle? Any ideas sould be a great help. I almost drowned it this morning on the way to work. Hit a flood that was a lot bigger than it looked in the headlights, and deeper. 1987, 5sp D/R Wagon with a carb. Where do I start?
Turbone
Start by going to the offroad forum and doing a search. There were several threads about snorks over there. Biggest thing is adapting a connection to your existing aircleaner. PVC is your friend:)
Phizinza
We put a snorkle on a mates 88 wagon.. Used 2" fence post steel cut and weled together with a LEgacy airbox. But you can get similar resualts with PVC down pipe.
